Report of eath

In class we had to look in magazines and pretend we are from another planet and we had to report of what we thought of humans by looking in magazines

Report of earth
I have come from planet sheep which is in the galaxy banana 1000

Earth is a place of people that don't stop smiling. They make there skin look like plastic and fake The love there hair tidy not one hair out of place. There foods look really delicious and they present their food to perfection. They love the outdoors and there gardens, everyone has really good gardens. They like to pose in front of cameras. They like to show their teeth. Most of them like to repopulate. They love products that make them look good, they make fun of people that are ugly

My Passion Project

My Speech About Why You Should Play sport

Sport is an activity involving physical exertion and all kids should play it. Therefore sport needs to be compulsory and made equal in importance to the core curriculum subjects like maths, reading and writing.

Sport is all about fitness. You will have a vast number of possible health issues if you don't keep fit and healthy. Obesity is a leading issue in school age children. By playing sport routinely children will be supported to stay fit and make healthier choices. Your body will feel better if you are fit and it will be easier doing things.

Sport is all about teamwork and collaboration. By playing sport such as Rugby, cricket ,football and basketball, to name a few, you are being part of a team, you are working  together as one. By playing a team sport you are getting to meet other people and socialize. By playing sport you can make heaps of friends, just like I have.

Sport can also be about self esteem and stress relief. Playing sport helps you experience a sense of achievement, which makes us feel better about ourselves.By playing sport it clears your mind and it calms your worry's.

Sport needs to be compulsory in all schools. Kids need to start getting fit, socializing and working as a member of a team.Sport help us clear our minds about our worries, so with all these reasons you should definitely play sport

Where is the banana where is the banana

The banana is in my  house

kei hea te panana, kei hea te panana

kei roto i te kaihoko

kei hea te panana, kei hea te panana
kei roto i te torore

kei hea te panana, kei hea te panana

My poem

MY DYING CONRAD

we cough and fall over in the mud as we march forward in the front line,My mates are so sore they can't stand up anymore.

We turn around to get away from the front line we are scared we hear bullets coming from behind us.

We are tired and exhausted we stumble as we try to walk some of us are crawling to get away,we walk or crawl just to get out of here, its like they have no feet to walk on we just keep falling over. W      e are all grumbled up and not talking at all and when they do make a sound they scream in pain.

“GAS GAS cover your mouths don't open your mouths”

Get your gas mask on everyone apart from one gets theirs on and theirs one person who didn't get it on he was called johnny he was screaming as the gas went into his lungs he was yelling help but people were too busy getting theirs on so no one could help him

The gas got thicker you couldn't see you were trying to find your people but its like they weren't there the gas was a dark green colour. You could here you soldiers yelling where are you guys.

And there i see johnny hes trying to find something to help him but i can’t help him hes screaming help me help me. But its then i realize that he is going to die.

we load him into the wagon it was my job to walk behind the wagon and he just happened to be in my site and i watch him suffer i could start to see his throat closing on him.He goes gray. suddenly he goes quiet and still he stops moving he stops breathing he stops suffering.

Then a whole heap of blood came out of his mouth as they went around a corner his lungs turned to liquid. The sound was like he was choking on blood then the next corner another hole heap of blood came up again  i feel like i should throw up. His body is covered of his own blood. Even the smell was bad.

If you had smelt and saw or felt what people did you would never say again that it was glorious to die for country.

In reading today we got a photo each and we had to answer questions for it

My I am from poem

I am from

I am from Myles and Jo
catching eels at the creek

I am from
rugby ball constant
I am from rugby

I am from going to Mahanga
sandy beach and seals
from catching some waves on the surfboard

I am from sizzling sun
burning skin
Swimming at the beach

I am from sea food
catching fish
I am from hunting and fishing

I am from a messy bedroom
invisible line for my part of the room
